The Klamath Refuge in Northern California is a great place for birding. It was a pretty foggy day when I took this picture. I didn’t think it was a particularly interesting shot until I filtered up the tule weeds in the background, and changed it to black and white.
2016 Audubon entry #6
I enjoyed this photo. I know nothing of the refuge–does it include the area around the Falls?
Rean, there really are no falls in Klamath Falls. What falls there were–not much–were covered when the Link River dam went in back in the 20s. The bulk of the refuge is in California. The Oregon parts of the refuge are maybe 15 miles south of Klamath Falls.
